Ismailia governor Ahmed Bahaa Eddin Qassas on Sunday thanked the Armed Forces after 114.5 million cubic meters of sand have been lifted in the new Suez Canal project.
Digging rates exceeded all plans, the governor said in statements to MENA.
All needed efforts are being exerted to complete the project in timely manner and in perfect way, he added.
