Ramallah - MENA
Israel on Monday detained Palestinian Islamic Jihad member Khader Adnan, only one day after he was released from the Israeli jails.
"Israeli occupation forces arrested Adnan while he was entering East Jerusalem for prayers at Al Aqsa Mosque," the Palestinian Prisoners' Club said in a brief statement.
Adnan was released on Sunday following a deal last month in which he agreed to end a 56-day hunger strike.
He had been under administrative detention - a practice in which Israel holds Palestinians without charges or trial - for a year.
