Italy's Minister of Foreign Affairs Paolo Gentiloni called for an international action to support the UN-brokered Libyan unity government, led by Fayez Serraj.

The international community is working on boosting the political support offered for the unity government, Gentiloni was quoted by Radio Sawa as saying.

Italy supports the insistence of the government to undertake its tasks from Tripoli.
