A delegation from the Islamic Jihad Movement of Palestine led by Secretary-General Ramadan Shallah on Saturday concluded a visit to Egypt.
The delegation met with Egyptian officials to discuss the situation in the Gaza Strip and relations with Egypt.
The delegation made extensive contacts and meetings resulted in a Hamas obligation to control the border with Egypt, a statement issued by the movement said.
Cairo stressed keenness on the interests of the Palestinian people and understanding of their needs.
