The Jordanian authorities have closed Nasib border crossing from its side, a reliable source at the Syrian Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs said.
The source said the Syrian authorities held Jordan responsible for blocking the movement of trucks and passengers as well as the economic and social repercussions of the move, the Syrian News Agency Sana reported.
