The Jordanian Interior Ministry denied on Thursday news reports about security threats in the Kingdom.
"Rumor mongers are trying to shake Jordanians' confidence in their leadership and security forces," spokesman for the ministry Ziad al Zuabi told MENA.
He added that Jordanian authorities are fully aware of the threats in the volatile Middle East region.
The US Embassy in Jordan on Wednesday warned American citizens to avoid high-end shopping malls in Amman because of credible threats of terrorist attacks.
