Amman - Petra
The President of the Jordanian Constitutional Court, Taher Hikmat, and the Vice President of the Supreme Constitutional Court of Egypt, Hanafi Gebali, Wednesday discussed constitutional and legal cooperation.
Hikmat said this meeting is in line with the efforts of the Constitutional Court to consolidate ties and cooperation with the Arab courts and constitutional councils and impart legal and constitutional experiences.
He also highlighted the work of Jordan's Constitution and the Constitutional Court, which began its mission on October 6, 2012, while pointing out that the court has a key role in the reform process and is a major step towards promoting the principles of separation of powers.
