Jordan's Iftaa body asserted on Monday that Daesh is a "terrorist group."

"The group kills, loots and considers others as infidels," the General Iftaa Department said in a Fatwa (religious edict).

Such acts go contradictory with the Islamic teachings that call for tolerance, forgiveness, mercy and love and reject terrorism and extremism, it added.
