Jordanian King Abdullah II on Thursday condemned as a "cowardly" and "terrorist act" the attack that targeted Bardo Museum in the capital Tunis on Wednesday, and left a number of innocent people dead and others wounded.
During a telephone conversation with the Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi, the King extended condolences and expressed sympathy with Essebsi and the families of the victims.
He stressed Jordan's support to Tunisia and its people.
