Jordan's King Abdullah II received Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi upon his arrival at Marka Military Airport on Thursday.
The two leaders inspected the guard of honor at the airport that lined up in reception as the Egyptian and Jordanian national anthems played in the background. The artillery fired 21 shots to greet the visiting president.
The two leaders are expected to hold talks on boosting bilateral relations and regional developments.
