Libyan army

Jordan and Libya discussed on Monday ways of fostering bilateral cooperation in the military fields, especially that related to rebuilding the Libyan army, according to a statement released by the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces.

This came during a meeting held between Jordanian King Adviser for Military Affairs and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Mashal Mohammad Al Zabin and Libyan Army Chief, Gen. Khalifa Haftar as well as the accompanying delegation.

In the presence of Jordanian Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein, Al Zabin and Haftar probed developing bilateral relations between the armed forces of the two countries.
