Terror is the real and direct threat to stability in the world in general and the Middle East region in particular, Jordanian State Minister for Media Affairs and Government Spokesman Mohammad Momani said on Tuesday.

Speaking to Jordan News Agency (Petra), Momani added that the war on terror was "the Muslims' war".

Islam is a religion of peace and tolerance, he pointed out.
