Jordan has received 536,788 Syrian refugees since the outbreak of the crisis in the Levant country, said Commander of the Jordan's Border Guard Saber al Mahayreh on Friday.
In a statement by Jordan's Armed Forces General Command, Mahayreh said that 91% of the Syrian refugees received by Jordan are women and children.
More than 85,000 Syrian refugees have received treatment in the Kingdom, Mahayreh noted.
