The Jordanian border guards received 153 Syrian refugees of various age groups over the past 72 hours.

A statement released by the Jordanian Armed Forces on Sunday said the border guards provided the refugees with their basic needs and moved them to a refugee camp.

The Jordanian border guards pledged to continue their humanitarian duty along with protecting the borders to prevent any smuggling or infiltration attempts.

Since the outbreak of the Syrian crisis, Jordan has received 640,000 ٍSyrians according to UN High Commission for Refugees.
