A total of 51 new Syrian refugees from various age groups, entered into Jordan through various crossing points during the last 72 hours, according to a military source on Sunday.
The source said border guards provided the refugees with the necessary aid before transferring them to refugee camps.
The Jordanian Royal Medical Services' personnel administered first aid to refugee patients through their medical centers at the borders, the source added.
More than 630,000 Syrian refugees are registered with the UN High Commission for Refugees in the kingdom, while Jordanian officials estimate them as more than 1.4 million, including 750,000 already in Jordan before the incidents in Syria.
