Amman - Arab Today
A total of 909 Syrian refugees of different age groups entered Jordan over the past 72 hours, the Jordanian Armed Forces said on Sunday.
They were placed at shelters and camps set up to receive them.
Medical services and necessary first aid for emergency cases were provided.
The Arab country is giving shelter to more than 660,000 Syrian refugees who have been streaming into Jordan since the beginning of the Syrian crisis in March 2011, according to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
According to Jordanian officials, only 10% of the refugees live at their camps while about 90 percent live in Jordanian cities and villages which badly affects the nation's infrastructure and local services.
