Interior Minister Hussein Majali met on the sidelines of the 31st session of the Arab Interior Ministers’ Council in the Moroccan city of Marrakesh with his Saudi counterpart, Prince Mohammad Bin Nayef Bin Abdul Aziz.Talks dealt with ways to boost mutual cooperation in the field of security as well as in addressing security challenges facing the two countries, especially in the light of the instability currently prevailing in a number of countries in the region. Majali voiced his appreciation for the continued Saudi support to the Kingdom’s reforms and development process that helps it in overcoming challenges, mainly in the economic field.On the Syrian crisis, the minister said Jordan was exerting tremendous efforts to alleviate the sufferings of the Syrian refugees in the Kingdom and provide them with educational and health services.The Saudi minister praised Jordan’s efforts to host Syrian refugees despite the economic challenges facing it.
