Jordan on Monday stressed its support to all Arab and Saudi issues, in reference to the ongoing crisis between Riyadh and Tehran following the storming of the Saudi Embassy in Iran.

"Jordan condemns the attacks on the Saudi diplomatic mission in Tehran after the Saudi execution of Shiite cleric Nimr al Nimr," a senior Jordanian government source said.

The source stressed the necessity of non-interference in other countries' internal affairs and respecting the diplomatic missions.

Late on Saturday, angry Iranian protesters stormed and set ablaze the Saudi Embassy in Tehran before police drove them out.
