Jordan is taking part in the 6th Arab Conference on Tourism Security currently being held in Tunisia, which is also being attended by representatives of Arab interior ministries, the Arab League, Naif Arab University for Security Sciences and the Arab Tourism Organization.
Topics for discussion include the role of local communities in achieving tourism security, experience of member countries in this field in addition to tourism related crimes.
Jordan is being represented by Director of the Tourist Police Department, Colonel Basim Ibrahim Qteishat.
