Jordanian border guards thwarted an attempt by two persons to sneak into Syria, a military source of the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces said in a statement on Wednesday.

One of the infiltrators was killed and the other injured, the source added.

The Jordanian Armed Forces will not tolerate with anybody trying to destabilize security in the nation, the source asserted.
