The Jordanian border guards foiled on Sunday an infiltration attempt by one person.

He tried to infiltrate into the Jordanian borders towards the Syrian territories, according to an official source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces.

The infiltrator was arrested and referred to the concerned bodies, said a Jordanian military official in a statement issued on Sunday.
