Jordanian military spokesman Col. Mamdouh al Amri said Tuesday that Col. Gen. Mashal al Zaben, the military adviser to the king, is in Cairo to attend a meeting of Arab chiefs of staff.

Zobn, who is also the Jordanian chief of staff, told MENA correspondent, he will attend the meeting slated for Wednesday to discuss the formation of a joint force.

Arab leaders had approved the idea in principle when they met for the Arab Summit in Sharm el Sheikh last month.
