Jordanian King Abdullah II left Amman Monday heading for Washington on a work trip where he will meet with US President Barack Obama on December 5.
The meeting will take up means to boost bilateral ties in the different domains and the latest developments in the Middle East.
The Jordanian king will meet with a number of US administration officials, according to a statement by the Jordanian royal diwan.
Both leaders will also confer on the situation in Syria and means to combat terror, the statement added.
