Jordanian King Abdullah II left here Saturday for Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt, to attend the 26th Arab Summit.
Fourteen heads of state will be taking part in the two-day event.
The Arab Summit will tackle a report by Arab League Secretary General Nabil el Araby on joint Arab action.
Topping the agenda will also be the Palestinian cause, the Arab-Israeli conflict and the situation in Syria, Libya and Yemen.
Arab national security and the fight against terrorism will also figure high at the summit.
