King Abdullah II of Jordan Monday asserted the need to support the Iraqi government in dealing with terrorist gangs that threaten the security and stability of the entire region.
During a meeting with visiting Iraqi Vice President Ossama al Njeifi, the monarch stressed the kingdom's strong support to the Iraqis in their quest for stability and security, a statement released by the Hashimite royal cabinet said.
The meeting tackled regional and international issues to combat terror, the latest developments in the region and bilateral relations, the statement said.
