The Lower House in Jordan

The Lower House Tuesday formed 20 permanent committees in a session headed by House Speaker Atef Tarawneh.
Today's session witnessed the forming of seven committees while the other 13 had already been formed during previous sessions.
The council chose the Palestine committee members without an election, while a ballot took place for the Foreign Affairs committee, but the members of Human Rights and Freedoms, Education and Labor and Development committees won by acclamation.
Tarawneh announced that in tomorrow’s session the Tourism and Integrity, and Transparency and Fact-finding Committees would be formed.
