Lower House Speaker, Atef Tarawneh, offered condolences on behalf of lawmakers to the Saudi Monarch Salman Bin Abdulaziz.
In remarks during a session on Sunday attended by Prime Minster Abdullah Ensour, Tarawneh said, ''Before discussing the meeting's agendas, allow me on behalf of all of you to pay tribute to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz.''
The Speaker recalled the stances of the late Saudi king towards Jordan and his keenness to build strong and brotherly ties with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
He added that the Saudi king Salman Bin Abdulaziz, who has assumed the responsibility after King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz's death, is a leader who devoted himself to serve his people and the Arab and Islamic nation.
