Minister of Interior Hussein Al Majali, Monday, met with Secretary-General of Arab Interior Ministers Council, Mohammed bin Ali Kouman, and reviewed the agenda of the 32nd session of the Arab Interior Ministers Council scheduled to be held in Algeria next month.
The agenda includes many security issues, mainly efforts to fight terrorism and combat drug trade.
Al Majali commented on some of the issues on the agenda of the Arab interior ministers' meeting, stressing Jordan's support to the council’s recommendations.
He also valued the efforts carried out by the Council to achieve the desired security cooperation among all its members, contribute to consolidating Arab security, overcome security difficulties, especially in light of the political, economic and social changes in some Arab countries.
Kouman hailed Jordan's active and distinguished role in supporting the council's working bodies, especially the Arab Office on Drugs Affairs.
