Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour met in Baghdad on Thursday with Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament Salim Al Jabouri and discussed with him Jordanian-Iraqi ties as well as ways to further boost them in various fields.
Ensour said that Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II stands by Iraq and that the Kingdom does not interfere in Iraq’s international affairs.
Al Jabouri voiced thanks and appreciation for Jordan’s continued support to Iraq, noting that addressing security challenges requires concerted regional efforts.
