Speaker of the Jordanian Senate Abdur-rauf Rawabdeh welcomed His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah's visit to Jordan Monday.
He underlined the importance of His Highness the Amir's visit in consolidating the deep-rooted ties between the two Arab countries.
"This visit will take the bilateral cooperation up to new heights to serve the interests of the two countries' people," Rawabdeh told KUNA.
He pointed out that Jordan is keen on strengthening relations and expanding cooperation with Kuwait.
He added the leaders and legislative councils of the two countries are taking all necessary measures to boost these relations.
