The Senate, in an urgent meeting Wednesday, condemned the 'atrocious and brutal' killing of Captain Muath Al-Kasasbeh at the hands of the Daash terrorist group.
Senate President Abdel Raou'f Rawabdeh affirmed how national unity has always run deep throughout Jordan's history, noting that the Kingdom has always remained proactive against such elements and will not be held hostage to Daash and other terrorist organizations.
What Daash did is an ugly act, that is incompatible with the Islamic values of tolerance and principles, and confirms the degeneration and savagery of this terrorist group, Rawabdeh added.
