Jordanians on Wednesday held prayers for the absent for martyr captain, Muath Kasasbeh, at the Grand Husseini Mosque in Amman, who was killed in a barbaric manner at the hands of Daesh terrorist group.
Prime Minster Abdullah Ensour, the Chief Justice, the Kingdom's Grand Mufti and thousands of Jordanians took part in the prayers.
Minster of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Hayel Dawood stressed that this hard stance that Jordan finds itself taking today, is a test of their toughness and their will which makes them special in such times, adding that the days ahead will prove to those who try to test the strength of Jordan's leadership and people, that we will survive through such trauma as we did before.
Immediately after the prayers ended, worshipers gathered at the Husseini Mosque Square, chanting slogans against Daesh terrorist group and asserting their support for the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II and the Armed Forces in the fight against terrorist organizations to protect the homeland from its evil.
