Jordanian King Abdullah II received a phone call from Saudi Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, according to a statement released by the Jordanian Royal Court on Sunday.

The two officials discussed the recent developments in the region and asserted the depth of relations binding the two brotherly countries, the statement added.

In a joint press conference held on July 9, Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh and his Saudi counterpart Adel al Jubeir stressed the two countries enjoy strong ties and share identical visions on various regional issues.
