Jordanian King Abdullah II stressed Sunday that the international community should support the countries affected by the Syrian crisis.
He underlined the need of applying the decisions of London Donor Conference hosted by the British capital on Thursday.
These remarks came during meeting with the Speaker of the German Parliament (Bundestag) Norbert Lammert who is currently visiting Amman, said the Jordanian Royal Court in a statement.
During the get-together, the king underscored the pivotal role played by Germany in dealing with the consequences of the Syrian crisis especially backing the neighboring countries to Syria which host the Syrian refugees.
Jordan hosts about 1.3 million Syrian refugees on its territories, the monarch reiterated.
He further said that there should be cooperation between the regional and international parties to combat terrorism.
For his part, Lammert underlined that there is international appreciation to Jordan for hosting Syrian refugees and offering services to them.
