Jordan's King Abdullah II

Jordan's King Abdullah II on Thursday condemned a terrorist bombing that targeted a mosque in Saudi Arabia's Abha city, killing and wounding a number of Special Emergency Force members.

In a cable sent to Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King Abdullah expressed strong condemnation of such cowardly, criminal and terrorist acts and voiced Jordan's solidarity with Saudi Arabia to firmly counter such acts.

He also offered condolences to King Salman and the Saudi people over the tragic incident, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
