Minister Magdy abdel ghaffar

Justice and Interior Ministers Ahmed el Zend and Magdy Abdel Ghaffar respectively stressed on their keenness on resuming the efforts exerted by the state's departments to uproot terrorism.

They underlined the need to push forward the strong relations between the judiciary and the police apparatus.

They underscored also on the need to cooperate in applying justice as well as law on the extremist and criminal elements that harm the stability and security of the homeland.

These remarks came during the visit paid by Zend to the Interior Ministry to greet Abdel Ghaffar, his aides and the police apparatus on the Police Day.

Zend said that there is a strong link between the judiciary and the police in Egypt as they sacrifice to serve the homeland.

He further expressed his appreciation to the role played by the police to achieve the safety of the country and its citizens.

For his part, Abdel Ghaffar said that there is ongoing cooperation between the police and judiciary especially at the current time where Egypt is engaged in a fierce war against terrorism.

He reiterated that the police will be able to eradicate extremist groups atop of which is the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) terrorist group.

The black terrorism poses a threat to the present and future of the Egypt, he concluded.
