Muslim Brotherhood Deputy Supreme Guide Khairat el Shater was transferred back to Cairo's Tora Prison, after he went to Maniyal Hospital over back pain, a security source said.
In exclusive statements to MENA Saturday, the source said that Shater returned to prison after undergoing medical tests and x-rays on his back and spinal cord.
Shater had asked to undergo medical tests over back pain. The prison's department approved his request and transferred him, amid intensive security measures, to the hospital and returned him to prison.
