Libyan Deputy Foreign Minister Hassan el Saghir has been released after being kidnapped on Sunday.
Foreign Minister Mohamed el Dairy hailed the efforts of the Interior Ministry and eastern Libya's tribes that led to the fast release of the official.
Unidentified gunmen had kidnapped el Saghir from his hotel in the eastern city of Bayda.
