UN Envoy for Libya Martin Kobler said Tuesday Libyan parties might reach an agreement on forming a consensus government before the end of this year.

A new national consensus government will be formed by the beginning of 2016, Kobler tweeted.

His remarks followed talks with the different Libyan factions.
