KRCS begins 15th relief aid journey for Syrians in Jordan

Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) began its 15th land journey to Jordan on Thursday, carrying a shipment of about 60 tons of relief aid for Syrian refugees in the Kingdom.
This journey is part of several operations to transport relief materials to the Syrian people, Dr. Hilal Al-Sayer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of KRCS, said in a press statement, adding that this shipment contains 2,000 food packages.
KRCS team will reinforce its field presence in Jordan in order to supervise the distribution of various relief materials and meet the needs of those affected in light of current harsh circumstances, Al-Sayer noted, adding that the team is so keen on guaranteeing the delivery of the relief aid to Syrians in Jordan.
Furthermore, Al-Sayer pointed out efforts exerted by KRCS this year, in cooperation with Jordanian Red Crescent Society and the Kuwaiti Embassy in the Kingdom, in providing humanitarian aid to Syrian refugees in Jordan that included food, blankets, clothes, and daily bread, adding that the relief aid were handed directly to Syrians living in various Jordanian cities under the supervision of KRCS' volunteers.
He expressed hope that Kuwaiti aid contributes in lifting the suffering of Syrian refugees in Jordan, assuring at the same time continuation of support for those refugees
