Kuwaiti Ambassador in Doha Meteb Al-Mutotah praised on Tuesday the outcome of the second regional training course on human rights mechanisms, which was held in Doha for Kuwaiti diplomats in GCC countries.
At the course's conclusion ceremony, the ambassador said that he recognize the tremendous efforts exerted in the past five days by Qatar National Commission for Human Rights and Geneva National Institute for Human Rights to achieve the goals of this course.
Al-Mutotah also praised participants for their work in highlighting Kuwait efforts on human rights and the permanent follow up committee for the implementation of a five-year plan, as well as the government work to ensure the success of this course.
The ambassador said human rights issues are at the forefront of Kuwait's priorities.
This priority is "vital and critical," and Kuwaiti Foreign ministry has an ambitious action plan embodied in the development plan and the program of the government to boost human rights principles.
Al-Mutotah explained that such panel was assigned to host regional specialized courses and workshops for employees at the Kuwaiti foreign Ministry.
The diplomat added that these courses aim to increase experiences for Kuwaiti diplomats abroad.
