The State of Kuwait Saturday called for an urgent and extraordinary meeting of the Arab League at the level of delegates in order to discuss the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Syria's Aleppo, and to make necessary appeals to the international community and humanitarian organizations.

Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Saturday that it had also called for an urgent and extraordinary meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) at the level of delegates.
