Minister of Justice Yaqoub al-Sanea

Kuwait's Minister of Justice and Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Yaqoub Al-Sanea said Thursday that his country has always been a giving country, providing aid and assistance to needy people around the world since its establishment.
Speaking to KUNA during his visit to Syrian refugee camp in Azraq, east of Jordan, along with a delegation of the "Humanitarian Leader" campaign, the minister said they delivered food parcels and blankets to 1,500 Syrian families at the camp.
"By aiding Syrian refugees and alleviating their burdens on Jordan, Kuwait renews commitment to its humanitarian and Islamic principles as well as affiliation to Arab nationalism," Al-Sanea said, praising the generosity of the Kuwaiti people and Jordan's efforts in hosting Syrian refugees.
"The Kingdom of Jordan spares no effort in hosting Syrian refugees and providing them with aid and assistance under directions of King Abdullah II," said the minister.
Al-Sanea is accompanied by IICO's Chairman and Amiri Diwan Advisor Dr. Abdullah Al-Maatouq, Zakat House Director General Ibrahim Al-Saleh, Deputy Secretary General at Kuwait Awqaf Public Foundation Mohammed Al-Jalahma, and Ahmad Al-Qarawi, Director of Media Department at Awqaf Ministry.
