Kuwait has reiterated its support for Iraq’s security, stability and territorial integrity, the cabinet said during a weekly cabinet meeting, expressing “confidence in the Iraqi people’s ability to overcome this distress soon,” state news agency KUNA reported.
During the meeting, First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah briefed the cabinet on the outcome of a recent Arab ministerial meeting on Iraq, which stressed Iraq’s sovereignty, security, stability and national unity and rejected interference in its internal affairs.
