Kuwaiti Ambassador to Iran Majdi Al-Dhafiri has held a ceremony to mark the anniversaries of Kuwait's 54th National Day and 24th Liberation Day in presence of senior political and media figures in Iran.
Ambassador Al-Dhafiri congratulated His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah AL-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber AL-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and the Kuwaiti people on the national occasions, according to a statement he made KUNA on Tuesday.
He noted that this year's celebrations of the national festivities follow the UN honoring of His Highness the Amir as a "Humanitarian Leader" and Kuwait as a "Humanitarian Center." Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Dr. Ali Jannati congratulated the leadership and people of Kuwait on this national occasion wishing it further development.
