A delegation from the Kuwait Fund for Development arrived in Egypt on Sunday to discuss providing assistance for Syrian refugees in Egypt.
The Kuwaiti delegation met with Ambassador Abdel Rahman Salah, assistant foreign minister of Arab affairs to review the volume of burdens borne by the Egyptian government due to hosting Syrian refugees.
Salah praised Kuwait for hosting a conferences on the humanitarian situation in Syria.
The Kuwaiti delegation voiced appreciation for efforts exerted by Egypt to host the Syrian refugees, stressing the importance of supporting Egypt in the fields of education, higher education and health.
Kuwait has pledged to offer 100 million dollars for supporting countries that host Syrian refugees.
Egypt is hosting more than 300,000 refugees who fled the Syrian conflict.
