Kuwait City - MENA
Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Thursday strongly condemned terrorist attacks against Egyptian forces in North Sinai.
In a cable to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the Emir rejected these "heinous terrorist acts" which target innocent civilians, and undermined security and stability of Egypt, KUNA reported.
He also reaffirmed rejection of all terrorist operations that contravened with faiths and human values, and that Kuwait stood behind the international community in its fight against terrorism.
Sabah extended condolences for the families of the victims and wished speedy recovery for the wounded.
