Minister of Information and Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Salem al Humoud al Sabah announced that the Cabinet will hold an urgent meeting later today to probe the consequences of that attack.

Kuwait's National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali al Ghanem called for an urgent meeting of the council to discuss the incident.

Some news websites reported that Daesh terrorist group claimed responsibility for that suicide attack on the Shiite mosque in al Sawaber area.
