Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah (R)

Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah on Thursday said the State offers security bodies and personnel all forms of support.
Opening the new Security Forces command center and camp in Sulaibiya, Sheikh Mohammad said that the giant project reflects the limitless backing by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to national security.
Sheikh Mohammad was joined by Minister of Public Works and Minister of Electricity and Water Abdulaziz Al-Ibrahim in opening one of the biggest construction projects of the Interior Ministry. Senior officials from the two ministries attended the opening ceremony.
He underlined the role by the security bodies to preserve stability of the country, which is necessary for investment and development.
He added that the new building is one of several projects within the framework of a policy for developing and modernizing the Ministry's infrastructure, in close cooperation with the Ministry of Public Works.
He expressed hope, that the rest of development plans of all the security projects would be completed soon.
The project is "an integrated entity of utilities and services", Minister of Public Works and Minister of Electricity and Water Abdulaziz Al-Ibrahim said. It is a huge project Kuwaiti people are bound to be proud of.
Total costs of the project, built on an area of 630,000 square meters, have hit KD 57 million, said Al-Ibrahim, noting that they had exerted utmost efforts to abolish all obstacles facing work on it.
Preparedness and readiness of the security forces and upgrading their efficiency and performance constitute the major concern of all the officials of the Interior Ministry, the ministry's Undersecretary Lt.General Sulaiman Al-Fahad, said.
Plans for developing and streamlining the national security system is closely watched by Interior Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled who supports all efforts to provide security personnel with a favorable environment to perform their mission, Al-Fahad added.
Interior Ministry's Assistant Undersecretary for Special Forces Affairs Major General Mahmoud Al-Doseri said that the project includes several facilities for education, training and sports in addition to dormitories, shooting ranges, a mosque, an Olympic size swimming pool, and clinic, besides other buildings.
