The National Assembly

The National Assembly has approved a number of incoming correspondences from a number of parliamentary committees, during its regular session on Tuesday.
Head of the negative phenomena committee MP Hamdan Al-Azmi submitted proposals on the need to conduct studies on social workers and psychologists in schools as well as TV shows that go against the Kuwaiti society's culture.
Head of the public properties committee MP Adel Al-Kharafi asked for more time to hand over a report of recommendations in light of the grilling motion against the Minister of Public Works and Minister of Electricity and Water Abdulaziz Al-Ibrahim.
Health and social affairs committee, however, suggested the establishment of a closed joint-stock company to allow entry of domestic workers.
Meanwhile, the investigative parliamentary committee submitted a letter on violations taking place in the Stock Exchange market and another one on the mega million deposits case.
